Takes Place.

This book takes place in Mississippi. During the time when this book was written blacks and whites were treated much diffrently. Blacks and whites were always seperated they didnt go to work,school,or even were on the same bus. If a white and black were seen walking or talking to each other people would beat up the white person. For example Jeremy Simms walks to school every day with the Logan children even though he is beaten up and teazed for it.
